How to promote Youtube Videos for More Views and Subscribers?

I am searching for ways to get more views for my youtube videos. I upload a news video atleast thrice a week (which I believe is a good uploading frequency). After I hit the publish button, I immediately share the new video with my connections on social media like Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin. I also share the video url to my friends and family via Whatsapp.

However I have observed that my videos dont get enough views. After 24 hours the views start dropping and this is very disappointing. I take lot of efforts to make my videos. It appears that you tube doesnt promote the video organically always.

What are the ways I can get more views for my videos in Youtube? Any advice?
