With the rise in the number of social media platforms, we must use the right tools to get the most out of it. This is a Twitter-related service called ClickToTweet and it creates a clickable link that users can use to share anything on Twitter with one click. Recently, they released a Chrome extension which has only made this service even simpler.
What is ClickToTweet?
It’s a web app that is helpful for agencies and digital marketers for sharing links with others to get more tweets. Let me explain this with an example.
Suppose I want my readers to tweet this text:
“An Epic collection of 100+ #Blogging tools worth bookmarking: https://www.shoutmeloud.com/blogging-tools-mega-collection.html via @shoutmeloud #Blogger”
I can paste it like this and ask them to share which is handy but not very effective for everyone. With ClickToTweet, I can create a single link, which when clicked, will take users to their Twitter account and they can quickly share it on Twitter.

Well, this is a service that is worth bookmarking and with the new chrome extension, creating a Tweetable link is an absolute breeze.
The ClicktoTweet service offers a dashboard where you can create such links and also see the performance of earlier created Tweetable links.
To create a new tweetable link, simply use the message you would like tweeted box to compose your tweet and click on Generate New Link. If you are adding a link to a webpage along with your message, you have the option to track click stats and also shorten the URL from the compose area.

How I use the ClickToTweet service:
There are many practical use cases of ClickToTweet, but there is one way I use this service to avail its benefits.
When users join a course:
I usually create a link for users to share when they join any of my free courses. This has a ripple effect and helps me get new users as well. The key here is the message that you type to ensure your tweet copy is something worth sharing.
In email blasts:
When I send an email newsletter about a new blog post, I often encourage my readers to share it on Twitter. I make it easier for them by using such clickable links and so far I have seen significant results with this practice. With the ClickToTweet chrome extension, now it’s actually easier to create such tweetable links.
