Vlogging can well be defined as blogging in a video format. It is a video blog, hence the name ‘vlog’, that uses the medium of videos to reach out to the followers. Some also consider blogging to be more convenient, compared to blogging. Most people prefer watching video tutorials over reading a blog post which runs into multiple pages.
People, most importantly, do not have the time to read long posts. However, watching a video takes lesser time and is more convenient.
When we talk about earning from a vlog, it gives better monetization. However, most vloggers do not know the various sites to upload videos on. The first thing that any vlogger would say when asked about different websites, is “upload it on YouTube”. Well, YouTube is definitely a big space. But, we have multiple platforms where you can upload your content and earn money.
But the question is how do we find such platforms? How do we earn money from them?
That’s why the topic of this week’s #ShoutersChat was “Earning money through vlogging”.
